Empower Minds. Advance Measurement. Lead with Purpose.
Lead the Future of Precision — Join the Board of the Metrology Institute.
The Metrology Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education in the science of measurement through a combination of academic, technical, and practical pathways. Our mission encompasses the development of accredited Metrology Engineering degree programs, Calibration Technician Certification (CTC) tracks, and hands-on laboratory-based training in precision measurement and calibration techniques.
We are committed to equipping students and professionals with the skills necessary to meet the growing demands of industry, government, and research institutions. This includes delivering high-quality online learning through a robust Learning Management System (LMS), offering micro-credentials, and maintaining state-of-the-art instructional metrology laboratories for experiential learning.
The Institute also promotes workforce development across STEM fields by aligning its programs with national standards and industry needs, fostering partnerships with employers, and supporting lifelong learning. Effective governance is critical to our success. The following outlines the basic structure, roles, and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, and Standing Committees whose oversight and expertise ensure the strategic advancement of our mission.
